This is a question I get A LOT. The answer is ABSOLUTELY NOT!
I dont know of any one who shaves off eyebrows before being Microbladed, and I certainly don't do it. I don't see the point .
Maintaining the integrity of the brow is something that is very important to me , and removing brow hairs defeats that purpose .
I usually urge clients to have stray hairs outside the brow line waxed or threaded before their apt, so that the overall finish is sleek. I cam not removed stray hairs at apt time, as the pigment will pool into the empty follicle and leave a semi permanent dot in its place . Not a good look!.
If a client hasn't attended to their eyebrow grooming before apt, I use a brow shaper to remove the strays ( yes this is a mini razor) , but it's only used to tidy up unruly strays that have no role in the overall shape . However it is my least used tool in my kit!
So - to reiterate : EYEBROWS ARE NOT SHAVED OFF !
Eva Longoria - one of the most beautiful women .
Have a look at her brow heights !
Eyebrows are sisters not twins .
I used my unique App to measure Eva - she is mortal
like all of us - one brow higher than the other and not symmetrical .
Last year, I attended a Worksop overseas and the Fitzpatricks Rule in skin types was a whole module .
This was something new to me and something I have found helps me greatly in choosing a pigment colour for my clients .
The years prior to that I mostly chose a colour to match the existing brow hair, or head hair, taking into consideration the clients personality and so on.
This extra Rule , has been extremely helpful to me to give an overall natural result.
Here in Ireland , I deal mostly with Caucasion skin to date- but am equipped to deal with all skin tones now.

Louise runs a very busy and professional hair salon and I am delighted to now be apart of her team.
