The Microblading pen.
Have you ever wondered what the microblading pen looks like ?
We use Harmony blades, designed and manufactured by the amazing Tina Davies in Canada.
The sharpest microblade there is .
It consists of tiny micro needles, the thickness of acupuncture needles, lined up in a row , that form what looks like a blade - hence the name microblading.
The whole microblading pen from handle to blade is 100% disposable , and each one is opened in your presence for peace of mind .
The number of each blade is saved and recorded on your case notes.
Anaesthesiology is well understood and studied during Olives nursing career ( 30 years) , and most clients rate the soreness as a 3/10 , rating plucking or threading slightly more painful.
We use 3 types of anaesthetic in Browtique. A cream, a gel and a liquid style. All contain Lidocaine of varying strengths depending on the layer of the skin we are in.
Anaesthetic cream is applied 20 min before procedure , anaesthetic gel is applied ' during' the procedure , and liquid anaesthetic finally to keep you as comfortable as is possible .
If you are very worried about soreness, you can always speak to a pharmacist or order pain relief on our scheduling system , and we will mail it out on the same day if ordered before 12 md.
